Splash Beverage Group ($SBEV) has entered a licensing agreement with Argent BioPharma to acquire exclusive global rights to CannEpil®, a proprietary cannabinoid-based therapeutic developed for drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE).
The asset arrives with established patient access in Europe and documented engagement with the U.S. The deal moves Splash Beverage beyond its beverage portfolio and into pharmaceutical therapeutics.
What CannEpil® Is CannEpil® is a cannabinoid-based therapy formulated specifically for epilepsy, with its primary target indication being DRE — a form of the condition that does not respond to standard anti-seizure medications.
The therapy is proprietary to Argent BioPharma. No composition details, active ingredient ratios, or manufacturing disclosures were included in the announcement.
