Former Trump White House counselor and Fox News contributor Kellyanne Conway argued Tuesday that progressive and socialist candidates' Democratic primary victories do not reflect a broader shift in American political values.
Speaking to Fox News Digital from a Capitol Hill ceremony marking the nation's upcoming 250th anniversary, Conway said the wins are confined to a narrow set of districts and will not translate nationally ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
Conway's Assessment of the Primary Results A slate of progressive and socialist candidates scored high-profile victories in Tuesday's Democratic primaries, reigniting debate over the party's ideological direction.
Conway characterized several of the winning candidates as "anti-American" and "anti-Israel," arguing their appeal is geographically and demographically limited. "I don't think that plays everywhere," Conway said.
