Thirty-nine consecutive home wins over nonconference opponents is the mark No. 2 Oregon carries out of its 2026 season opener, the longest active such streak in the country. The Ducks survived a 27-27 fourth-quarter tie before Dakorien Moore hauled in a 62-yard touchdown pass from Dante Moore to put Oregon ahead for good in a 34-27 win over Boise State.
Oregon's 34 points came on four touchdowns and two Gage Hurych field goals. Boise State's 27 came on three Maddux Madsen touchdown passes and two Canaan Moore field goals. The math reconciles.

*Preceded by Evan Stewart punt muff, Broncos recovery
Boise State set the terms early. The Broncos opened with an 11-play scoring drive, Madsen capping it with a 13-yard pass to Cam Bates, and twice pushed Oregon into a deficit. The second came after Evan Stewart muffed a punt and the Broncos recovered, with Sire Gaines turning the gift possession into a 37-yard score. Oregon trailed 17-7 before Dante Moore found Jamari Johnson with 19 seconds left in the half, trimming it to 17-14 at the break.
A Hurych field goal tied it in the third quarter before McClellan's 8-yard catch put Oregon ahead, only for Madsen to answer with a 7-yard pass to Matt Wagner and close the period at 24-24. Hurych put Oregon up 27-24 with a fourth-quarter field goal before Canaan Moore answered to make it 27-27. Then Dante Moore found Dakorien Moore for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Madsen finished with 181 passing yards and three touchdowns Saturday. He threw for 2,334 yards and 18 touchdowns across the 2025 season. Boise State, entering its first year in the rebuilt Pac-12 after going 9-5 in the Mountain West last season, hosts Memphis in Week 2.
Oregon travels to Stillwater next week to face Oklahoma State.
