U.S. holds Level 3 advisory for Oman as terrorism and Iran drone threat persist

government employees stationed in the country may now travel to join them. The threat picture that put the rating in place did not shift. "Terrorism is a concern in Oman," the advisory states.

Drone and missile attacks from Iran are listed as an ongoing risk following the start of hostilities between the U.S.

The State Department warned that attacks can arrive with little or no notice, particularly around holidays, and may involve knives, firearms, or vehicles.
