Samsung Galaxy H1 over-ear headphones found in Wearable app code ahead of 2027 target

2015 is the last timestamp Samsung left on the over-ear headphone category.

Code strings now embedded in Samsung's Galaxy Wearable app carry a working designation for a new product called the Galaxy H1, and SamMobile reports the headphones could reach market sometime in 2027.

If the timeline holds, that would close a 12-year absence from over-ear hardware for the company.

The evidence comes from connection status icons inside the Wearable app, which depict an over-ear, wireless Bluetooth headphone design. Samsung has not confirmed the product.
