Robinhood lands Crypto.com stake and first IPO underwriting deal as Goldman raises target

Robinhood Markets (HOOD) entered Tuesday's session higher after the mobile brokerage disclosed two business expansions: a minority-stake purchase in Crypto.com paired with a contract to host the exchange's prediction market products, and its first assignment as an IPO underwriter, for smart-ring maker Oura.

Goldman Sachs separately lifted its price target on the stock. Protocol plus underwriting: two new revenue lines The Crypto.com transaction has a distinct structure.

Robinhood is not buying a crypto asset or a full subsidiary; it is taking an equity slice in the exchange itself and, alongside that, agreeing to list and host Crypto.com's prediction market contracts on its own platform.

That combination gives Robinhood a balance-sheet position in a digital-asset venue and a product distribution arrangement in a single deal, rather than two separate negotiations.
