More than $1.2 million in accumulated rewards sits unclaimed in the Nancy Guthrie disappearance case, per the FBI, as forensic psychologist Dr.

Kris Mohandie told Fox News Digital he believes neither of the two letters presented as ransom notes is authentic.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department released the full grammar and punctuation of both documents on July 31, details previously withheld from the public.

Mohandie's working hypothesis: a burglary gone wrong, followed by attempts to cover it up. What the two letters actually say The first letter demanded $4 million USD and was sent to a news outlet rather than the family.
