Peach State Bancshares shareholders face a deadline to elect their preferred form of merger consideration in United Community Banks' pending acquisition, the two companies announced July 10.
(NYSE: UCB) and Peach State Bancshares made the joint disclosure out of Greenville, S.C., and named an expected closing date for the transaction.
The election requires each Peach State shareholder to specify the form of consideration they want to receive before the deal closes.
United Community Banks, the acquiring party, and Peach State released the notice jointly via Globe Newswire.
