Mantle adds Paxos USDG as native stablecoin, joins Global Dollar Network

Paxos-issued USDG is now natively minted on Mantle. The layer-2 network has also joined the Global Dollar Network, entering its reward-sharing structure as part of the same arrangement.

Protocol versus listing Listing and minting are distinct operations.

A bridged stablecoin arrives on a chain as a wrapped claim on tokens that originate and are custodied elsewhere, adding the bridge as an additional dependency. Native minting means Paxos issues USDG directly on Mantle.

The chain holds issuance-layer status rather than acting as a downstream distribution point.
