A 5-to-6-inch laceration across Lindsey Barnett's throat is the forensic anchor in Lakewood police's first-degree murder case against her husband, Patrick Theodore "Ted" Barnett, 40, who is held without bond at Jefferson County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder in her Aug.
Barnett called 911 shortly after 6 a.m.
that morning, reporting that Lindsey, 37, had cut her own throat and was not breathing inside their Lakewood, Colorado home, but detectives say blood evidence at the scene contradicts his account.
He is scheduled to appear in court today, Aug. First responders found Lindsey in the shower beside a roughly 5-inch serrated knife, with comparatively little blood around her body.
