Input Output Group's YouTube channel began livestreaming a suspected AI-manipulated video of Charles Hoskinson, with the broadcast promising viewers it would "double your wealth." IOG told $ADA holders to stay away from the channel while the scam was active.
The warning itself is the controlling fact. IOG, the organization behind Cardano, did not tell users to wait for clarification or check back later. It told them to avoid the channel.
That is the cleaner read at this stage than any technical breakdown.
