Fifteen protein targets are the stated scope of a multi-arm design campaign that Anthropic, PBC announced August 18, 2026, naming Twist Bioscience Corporation (Nasdaq: TWST) as one of its independent evaluators.
The models powering the designs are Claude Opus 4.8 and Mythos Preview. Anthropic said it had already received binding data back from the campaign by the time the blog post published. The filing mechanism matters here.
Twist submitted an 8-K under Item 7.01, Regulation FD, a provision that requires companies to promptly disclose material third-party statements that mention them. Twist did not announce a contract.
Anthropic's blog post named the South San Francisco company in a public disclosure, and Twist reported that fact to the SEC the same day, August 18.
