The company, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker BKD, disclosed these figures in a release dated October 8, 2026, from its headquarters in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Sequential growth also accelerated in the quarter. Both consolidated and same-community weighted average occupancy rose by 70 basis points compared to the second quarter of 2026.
Brookdale stated that this sequential performance outpaced the stabilized senior housing market occupancy results reported by the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) for the same period.
